I have worked out some simple and effective natural recipes for beautiful hands and feet that will not only make you feel softer but also look pampered.
Softer Hands in 10 Minutes!
Soak your hands in warm milk for about 5 minutes. Take 2 lemon halves and 1 tsp of sugar. Scrub very gently in a rotating manner until all the sugar granules have melted and the skin has soaked up all the lemon juice. Wash off and see how beautiful and soft your hands look in just 10 minutes.
Wrinkled Dry Hands
Massage your hands with sweet almond oil and apply the following natural recipe: o 2 tsp ground masoor dal
o 1 tsp fullers earth
o one egg
o the juice of one lemon mixed in cold milk.
Apply all over and leave on for about twenty minutes. Wash hands in a scrubbing movement. This should be done at least twice a week for effective results.
Dark Elbows, Knuckles:
Mix a tsp of coarse sea salt with a tsp of almond oil and rub vigorously into the hardened areas. You can also do this on the knees. Wipe off with milk. Rub in warm oil, preferably almond oil. Feel silky and soft.
Cuticle Problem
2 tsp fresh pineapple, 2 tsp fresh papaya, 1 egg yolk and 1 tsp vinegar. Mash the papaya and mix in the pineapple juice. Beat in the egg yolk. Add vinegar and pour into a small bowl. Soak nails for about twenty minutes, massaging every now and then. Both pineapple and papaya contain enzymes that soften protein tissue.
Nail Strengtheners
1. Rub lemon peel and glycerine into the nails daily.
2. Make a lotion of rose water, lemon juice, glycerin and vodka and pour into a bottle. Shake ingredients and rub into nails and cuticles every day.
Cracked Heels
Rub warm sesame seed oil on the soles and cracked feet and then take kneaded whole-wheat flour and rub into the areas until it becomes flakes and begins to fall off. This should be done daily.
Also soak your feet in warm water to which you have added 500ml of castor and sesame seed oil. Use a pumice stone to soften the heels and remove dead skin.
Tired Feet
If you’ve been on your feet for long period of time and they are aching massage them with warm sesame seed oil mixed with peppermint oil and camphor. This will help improve blood circulation and also help you get back onto your feet in no time. If you have no time for long languorous massages,Soak your feet in a tub of hot water to which you have added camphor and peppermint oil for about 10 minutes and then rinse out feet with fridge cold water.
