Baking Soda To Fruit Peels, 3 Tricks To Whiten And Brighten Your Teeth

It is important to maintain good oral health. One of the indicators of good oral health is clean and healthy-looking teeth. In Indian households, many spices, especially turmeric, are used in foods that can make the teeth look pale yellow. Doctors advise everyone to brush their teeth twice and day and floss. Many have yellow teeth and struggle to keep the pearls clean and bright. While a visit to the dentist can solve the problem, doing it frequently will dig a hole in the pocket.

You can use teeth-whitening paste that is sold in the markets to help whiten your teeth or add a dash of baking soda to your normal paste. Apart from these, here are a few ways you can get rid of pale or yellow teeth right from the comfort of your house.

Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide

To whiten your teeth at home, make a paste using baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. It is known to remove plaque and bacteria that accumulate on the teeth. Use one teaspoon of baking soda and two teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide. After keeping it on the teeth for some time, rinse your mouth with normal water.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Another way to brighten and white your pearls is to use apple cider vinegar. Make this concoction by mixing two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water. Rinse your mouth with this solution for 30 seconds and not more than that. Spit it out and then rinse your mouth with normal water. Since it is vinegar which is acidic, use it sparingly.

Fruit peels

You can use lemon, orange or banana peels to get rid of the yellowing of your teeth. Use these peels on your teeth to remove the yellowness and make your teeth white and shiny. It is believed that the citric acid present in the peels will not only whiten the teeth but also help in getting rid of bad breath. Just rub the peels slowly in a circular motion on your teeth for at least two minutes and then rinse your mouth with water.
