Kathi roll base:
Preparing the base for the Kathi roll takes time. When you have the base ready then assembling the roll hardly takes any time. You can also buy readymade tortillas or Kathi roll base from supermarkets when you are in a pinch.
Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour
½ teaspoon salt or add as required
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup water or add as required

Method:
In a mixing bowl, take 2 cups of whole wheat flour, 1 tablespoon of oil and ½ teaspoon of salt
Slowly add 1 cup of water while mixing the flour.
Begin to knead. Add water as required and knead to a smooth soft dough.
Cover the dough and keep it aside for it to rest for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, divide the dough into portions and make dough balls.
Dust the dough ball with some flour. Then gently roll it into a thin roti.
Place the roti on a hot tawa. Cook, till you see bubbles appearing on the rot.
Cook on a medium-high to high flame. Then flip the roti.

For the paneer tikka filling:
1 cup paneer cubes
1/2 cup tomatoes
1/2 cup capsicum
1/4 cup onions

For the marinade:
1/4 cup curd
1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp besan flour
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp Kasuri methi
3/4 tsp garam masala

For the Kathi roll:
Lettuce
Onion slices

Method:
In a mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients for the marinade
Now add the paneer cubes, tomato cubes, capsicum cubes and onion cubes into the marinade and mix well
