Try This Restaurant-style Delicious Kadhai Paneer At Home

It is often thought that meat and eggs are the best sources of protein for those maintaining a healthy body, but that is not entirely true. For vegetarians, who do not consume meat, paneer is a healthy and worthy substitute. About 18 to 20 grams of protein are found in 100 grams of paneer. It is therefore a good source of protein, particularly for vegetarians. Its firm texture and mild flavour make it adaptable to a wide range of culinary preparations. One among the many famous paneer dishes all over India is Kadhai Paneer. Winter is fast approaching, and there is nothing better than having a hot bowl of Kadhai Paneer with chapatis on a chilly night. Let us tell you how to make this dish at home for dinner.

Ingredients:

To make this delicious dish, you will first need 250 grams of paneer. Apart from this, you need 4 tomatoes, 1 capsicum, 1/2 cup fresh cream, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 teaspoons garlic paste, 3 tablespoons ghee, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 handful coriander leaves, 2 onions, 5 green chillies, 1 teaspoon Kasuri fenugreek powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala powder, 2 teaspoon ginger paste, 2 teaspoon red chilli powder and salt.

Recipe:

To begin with, heat ghee in a pan and add chopped onion in it. Fry the onion until it turns light golden brown. Now grind the tomatoes in a grinder and make a puree and add it to the pan. Cook it until the masala is cooked well. Next, thoroughly combine the mixture and combine the ginger-garlic paste. Add the spices now: turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, and salt. Add some water, diced capsicum, and a small onion to form a smooth gravy. Cook it for two minutes or so.

Now add paneer and Kasuri methi in the pan and let it cook for 4-5 minutes on medium flame. Now, mix fresh cream in it slowly. Garnish with some green chillies and coriander leaves. Your delicious Kadhai Paneer is ready! You can serve it with hot roti, paratha or rice.
