Today, let’s prepare cauliflower with curd in a delicious and healthy way. This dish not only tastes yummy but also packs a nutritious punch.
Ingredients
- Cauliflower (florets)
- Chopped potatoes
- Chopped onion
- Ginger-garlic paste
- Chopped tomato
- Sweet potato-cashew paste
- Sour curd
- Turmeric powder
- Chilli powder
- Coriander powder
- Mustard oil
- Salt
- Sugar
- Garam masala
Recipe
- Wash and steam the cauliflower florets thoroughly. Heat oil in a pan and fry the florets until golden brown. If you enjoy potatoes, fry them in the same oil and set aside.
- Add a bay leaf and garam masala to the oil. Next, add the chopped onions and fry until golden. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste, followed by the chopped tomatoes.
- Mix in the powdered spices (turmeric, chilli, coriander) and let them roast well. Add the sour curd and sweet potato-cashew paste. Stir and reduce the heat to low.
- Season with salt and sugar to taste. Add the fried cauliflower and potatoes, mixing everything thoroughly. Pour in a little water to adjust the consistency and cook until the flavours meld and the gravy thickens.
